John Blair, one of our much loved interventional cardiologists, makes it a habit to host off-service dinners at some of his favorite Chicago dining spots.
Here they enjoyed tacos and margaritas at Big Star in Wicker Park. This year the IMR program is making a special effort to support this important tradition of off-service events, which are opportunities for residents and attendings to unwind after 2 weeks together on inpatient service.
It’s also a great chance to enjoy the social life that makes Chicago so livable—there is always something to do (and eat!) in this incredible city.
