Commitment to DEI
The University of Chicago Internal Medicine Residency (IMR) Program strives to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment focused on ensuring outstanding patient care, continuous professional development, and the well-being of every trainee. This nurturing environment coupled with fantastic supervision enables an educational philosophy predicated on learning by doing.

Improving Work Environment

Affinity Groups
Affinity groups provide a safe space for residents and faculty to gather around a shared aspect of their identities and to network, socialize, and plan events related to their respective groups. Each affinity group receives funding for events!
